Up to four throated and six cabled CAB1000 units can be paralleled to meet your energy needs.
How are CAB1000 units paralleled?
CAB1000 units are paralleled on the AC side, incorporating a fiber optic inhibit loop to prevent circulating currents. Note that units cannot be paralleled on the DC side.
What applications is the CAB1000 suitable for?
The CAB1000 is versatile and can be used in various applications, including black start, microgrid support, grid forming, and fast frequency response.
What is the control interface for CAB1000?
The CAB1000 uses Modbus TCP/IP as the recommended control interface, with CAN also available.

The CAB1000 is compatible with both and many more battery (and non-battery) solutions. The ratings of the inverter may change, so please reach out to learn about our experience with various storage solutions.
Can the CAB1000 provide grid services as well as back-up power for data centers?
Yes, the CAB1000 can provide demand response such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, voltage support, black start capability, power factor correction and active harmonic cancellation, though not all at the same time.
